Guest Dog Service

This is an exclusive service offered on a very limited basis to the best of the best behaving pups. Your dog can stay at Casa Newbegin as one of our Guest Dogs. While you're away your dog is our dog. He'll have indoor/outdoor privileges, personal attention and a great playmates chosen for their good behavior. All dogs must be healthy, current on shots and have zero behavior problems. If you live in my normal service area I can even offer pickup and dropoff service free of charge! Call for availability as these limited spaces fill up fast. We do not offer daycare services at this time. All dogs must be at least one year old and fully housebroken. We cannot care for puppies.

All dogs considered for Guest Dog Service must first come to our home with their owners ahead of their stay for a behavior assessment. Call the number above for an appointment to come and meet the family. We DO NOT take in same day drop offs! The meeting should be at least two weeks before your scheduled travel in order to give you a chance to find another provider if you feel you need to.

We love getting to know new pooches and we'll use the time to assess your needs and those of your canine companion. You also get the opportunity to see if we are a good fit for your pooch as well! You will probably meet some of our other Guests too, since we're very popular! We only take in a manageable number of dogs at a time, as we are NOT a kennel facility. Your dog lives with us just like our own buddy Reno, the house dog.

At the meet & greet we'll give you a checklist to help your pup enjoy her stay. Please be sure that your dog is current on all vaccinations, including bordatella and canine influenza, and that you can provide a copy of the record for us to keep on file. This is a requirement not only to keep all guests safe but to fulfill the conditions of my Liabilty coverage. All dogs staying with us must also be treated for fleas to keep everybody itch-free.
