How We Got Our Name

I adopted Bill in September of 2000 while I was umpiring for a local slow pitch softball league. Bill and his feral family had been found on a local construction site and he was a shy little three month old puppy. It took a while for him to get to know the family but soon we were all best of friends. He was a loyal companion and superior trail buddy as well as a great company mascot. On October 28, 2015, Bill crossed the Rainbow Bridge to play with all the buddies who went on ahead. We will miss him every day.
Feel The Love

I went on vacation for 21/2 weeks and when I got back to pick up the dogs, they were happy. I’ve left them in the past at other facilities for one week and they were so eager to leave the facility. Ed made me feel at ease with leaving the dogs with him due to his knowledge of dog behavior. Also the dog’s belongings were labeled and on a list so that it would not get mixed up with the other dog’s belongings.
I met the owners, I spent time in their yard where their doggie guests play and hang out…I was very impressed. They have protocols! It’s not just a free for all! For example, one of my pups was just spayed and is temporarily confined to a cone. Camp Bill owners made sure that she wasn’t involved in vociferous play with other guests in deference to her stitches. These are caring and responsible people. I just picked my dogs up after their stay and they are happy, healthy and obviously were well cared for. I will not hesitate to have my dogs stay at Camp Bill in the future when travel is necessary.
Ed (and his family members who help out) is wonderful. I used to work at an animal rights law firm and saw how bad things can go when you trust the wrong people with your furry family members, and I absolutely always trust Ed with my two pups. They clearly have a great time on their walks. Logistics like scheduling and billing have always been easy. On top of providing excellent care, Ed is also just a lovely, very down to earth person. Can’t recommend him enough!
I have trusted my senior cat with Ed for about 2 years now, and as long as she’ll stay with us, we’ll stay with Ed. He is super reliable and Walnut always does well under his care. He gives her medicine every morning, which is very important for our 19 year old kitty. It’s also reassuring that he’s at our house once a day while we’re traveling, and he takes the bins out for trash day. It puts our minds at ease. He also has a really great backup cat sitter in case he’s ever traveling, and he’s also very good and reliable. They’ve come through in a pinch when we had to make last minute travel plans, and we were so relieved to know we didn’t have to worry about our girl!
Ed did a great job taking care of my cat while I traveled for work. I am really appreciative of his professionalism and friendly demeanor. I’ve had a number of pet sitters in the last 10 years, in two different countries and two different states, and Ed is top notch and communicative and easy to work with. He took care of my cat Stalis who is part feral but an indoor cat. I always worry about care for Stalis due to that aspect of his history, but Ed took excellent care of his food and water and litter box in my absence. Thank you, Ed, very much, for the help and I’m sorry I moved, or I would request services again for my cat Stalis.
